Description
The intelligent power assist gives you the freedom to do more. It moves with you and is so lightweight that you don't even know it's there. You can spin in place, be in a wheelie, or hop off curbs. It is compatible with your active lifestyle.
This Smart Power Assist is perfectly compatible with the Manual wheelchair CARER-WHEELCHAIR.
This option includes a keypad that allows you to conveniently turn the power on/off and increase/reduce speed.
The smart power assist is a lightweight conversion kit for manual wheelchairs that allows you to go up hills and ramps, over thick carpet, long distances, and essentially, anywhere where it is hard to push. It is simple and intuitive to operate. The on/off and two-speed settings can be reached when seated. The options are 2.5 - 5 km/h on low and 2.5 - 8 km/h on high. Get going yourself, and the power assist will engage within 0.5 seconds to maintain that speed. Grab your wheels to speed up or slow down/stop, and the power assist will adjust accordingly.

Frequently Asked Questions:
(general questions and not related to the product)
1- Can you add a motor to a wheelchair?
The intelligent power assist drive is compatible with most wheelchairs using two discrete adapters. How does it work? The electric motors integrated into the wheel hubs effectively support the wheelchair user who has to put in much less effort to travel greater distances or slopes. A giant headphone-shaped add-on fits over the wheels of any ordinary wheelchair, endowing it with an electric drive. The speed and rotation speed of the wheels can also be adjusted.
2- How do you convert a standard wheelchair to an electric?
There are two kinds of attachments for wheelchairs; there are hand Cycles and power packs. Hand Cycles attach to the front of a manual wheelchair, and power packs attach to the back of manual wheelchairs. These manual wheelchair attachments provide an extra burst of propulsion and essentially are a set of batteries that hook onto a manual wheelchair.
3- How to attach a power add-on for a manual wheelchair?
Attach, power on, pull levers and control the joystick. It's as simple as that! If you want to handle it manually, detach the motor by releasing the levers and then you can push the rims of your wheelchair as you would typically do.
Considerations: Load Capacity for Wheelchair?
The load capacity of a wheelchair/scooter may change according to the type of ground on which the wheelchair/scooter is used.
The supplier's stated load capacity may have been given for a product tested on flat ground.
However, the load capacity, performance and stability may change when the product is used on an incline.
These factors must be discussed with the supplier, including the maximum gradient on which a wheelchair/scooter should be safely used.
